Thank you for considering sponsoring one of our member teams in the Shooter's Pub P.G. Recreation Hockey League. The 2007 / 2008 season will be the 32nd year of operations for the P.G.R.H.L. The league was formed in 1973, and has grown to include 40 member teams, consisting of approximately 800 players and 30 to 40 league officials. The people involved in playing, officiating, and operating the league are between 18 and 50 years of age.

The Shooter's Pub P.G. Recreation Hockey League is organized and operated by an executive consisting of 15 to 20 people. These individuals are players and officials, who volunteer their time to help with all aspects of operating one of the largest organized mens hockey leagues in Canada. As a full time employee (Al Hines) I work as the leagues operations coordinator. Among the many duties that I will be performing, one of the most important will be to make sure that the league sponsors are getting a great return on the money they have paid to teams for sponsorship fees or to the Shooter's Pub P.G. Recreation Hockey League for advertising on our league website.

The Shooter's Pub P.G. Recreation Hockey League will be offering all team sponsors the opportunity to have an advertisement put into rotation on this web site. Advertising space will be available on the Leagues website at no charge to qualified team sponsors. Each team sponsor will have the opportunity to supply Mosaic Internet Designs with their company information. For a small setup fee, Mosaic Internet Designs will develop the ad and place it in the Shooter's Pub P.G. Recreation Hockey League business directory on our website. These ads are in addition to the free ad that each team sponsor receives on their team's home page within the site. To qualify as a team sponsor a business must have a minimum $500.00 sponsorship with a team in the Shooter's Pub P.G. Recreation Hockey League. Positioning in the business directory will be based on the sponsorship commitment made by businesses. In addition team sponsors will be given the opportunity to use the value of the ad to upgrade to a larger ad in the business directory, or receive a 10% discount on banner advertising within the site. All sponsorship money is considered advertising revenue, and upon request the league will issue receipts to sponsors for the total amount of sponsorship funds paid to the teams.
