NOTICE REGARDING STATS

We are working VERY hard to prepare the site to get all the statistics online on the new site: www.recsms.com. We hope to be all caught up sometime next week (October 16, 2009). We really appreciate your patience during this transition.

Also, if you have any player changes, such as a change in jersey number, DO NOT RE-REGISTER on the rec-sms site. Your jersey numbers will be changed at the time of entry when your stats for that game are entered. For now, continue to give your correct number to the Scorekeeper at each game.

IMPORTANT SCHEDULE INFORMATION

Games scheduled after September 25, 2009 are now being displayed on the www.recsms.com web site. Game schedules for this site will no longer be updated. All players must check their schedules at www.recsms.com.

The www.recsms.com web application is the evolution of the system that has supplied statistics for the PG Rec Hockey League for the last 10 years. This system is currently under extensive development and you will see many changes over the next few months. All of the previous functionality that made the PGRHL site so successful will be part of this new system. Additionally, we are endeavouring to provide a more robust online sporting experience by providing you with:

• Centralized league, team and officials home pages
• Individualized player profiles
• Schedules that include Officiating information
• Provide online self scheduling options for officials
• Online registration forms for leagues, teams and players
• Communication forms

All of our efforts have been geared to giving you a system that will provide you with a more rewarding online sporting experience.
